A word we associate with weak
In Gods world a sign of might
Our hearts should forever seek
To surrender to his forgiving light
Give him all of your sin
Don’t be shamed to fully confess
It doesn’t matter how long it’s been
His desire is to continually bless
Embark on this pilgrimage, my friend
And he will create an everlasting glow
Which means it will never end
With that freedom you begin to grow
God’s heart is such an amazing thing. He allows us to live our life as we want, even though he knows we are going to break his heart over and over again. Yet, he still waits upon on us as a true servant. Here is this Mighty, All Knowing, All everything of a God and he serves us. He chose to let his son die for us and then defeated death just so he could spend eternity with us. I love that our God is big enough for our sins not to be an issue. He is pure and true to his word. He is always there and even for those who do not believe in him, he waits and watches for them to come home. Know that you are Jesus’ Beloved and will never be let go, not even when you want to! Selah!
We are always so torn between right and wrong. The problem with sin is that it usually gives us the temporary relief we are seeking. It lies to us and tells us that our fleshly desire will be eased if we give them what they want. This is only to find out that we end up feeling convicted or numb about the whole ordeal. Many people live their life trying to do right and you know what they do. They are great friends, husbands, wives, daughters, and sons. However, their life is missing something and that is the choice to submit their life to Christ. It is always looked down upon or considered a crutch used by people who can’t handle the “real world.” Well, let me tell you the real world is something that true Christians know about. I cannot tell you how hurtful it is to watch people live their life for emptiness and to see the look of being lost on their hearts. No matter what is said in public everyone faces their demons when they go to bed. It is only the peace of Christ that frees you from those burdens. Yes there are many people who sleep well in the world who are not believers, but their day will come to stand before a True and Mighty King. We must remember that even with free will we live under his kingdom and his grace. Our hearts are designed to love, serve and obey. These actions are looked poorly upon in the world, but in God’s world they are attributes of a Warrior, a Priest of the Most High! Selah!
