There is a point we all reach in life. It may happen young and it may happen old, and for some, it may never happen, unfortunately. Our life will always place us in the direction of God, and simply being a good person or living a good life will not be enough. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom or losing someone very dear to us, but it happens. We can choose to be angry at God when this happens and you know what our God is big enough that he can carry that burden. We must always remember that the decisions we make in our life carry consequences with them.. It is very easy to stand up and blame God, but the truth is we put ourselves in these situations most of the time. There are people who have inherited some secret sins and curses, but God will always provide a way out, we simply have to have our eyes open. He answers our prayers in the simplest of ways, so stop looking for the floating mountain to decide that God is a part of your life. Realize that when something goes your way but not exactly how you expected, our lives are not our own, He is in control. I need to remember this is my daily life because I am always wanting the quick fix, I have a hard time being patient, especially where God is concerned. I have been to rock bottom and have suffered through many evil things throughout my life and yet as angry as I have been at times, Jesus remained faithful. Then I stop and think of all those people around the world that we do not even think twice about on daily basis. The men, women and children that are slaughtered and mutilated because of their beliefs and we are worried about our credit rating score. I also think about the many thousands of Americans who are in horrible situations right now. They are fighting for scraps for their family, not knowing where the next piece of bread is going to come from. We must make a Stand for Christ and do so in a way that those who are lost or afraid can feel found and safe. Psalm 91 verse 2 states, He is my REFUGE and my FORTRESS, my God in whom I TRUST! Pray for those in need, make a stand through prayer and in any other way that you can. Do not let your life waste away by following the protocol of how the world tells us to live. Selah!
Stand for Christ

Anthony i believe that you are on the right track in your committment to our Master Jesus Christ.
The conditions most people find themselves in are of their own making/doing based on their will and stubbornness. They believe that they can live their lives as they see fit without seeking the grace and guidance of the Master. Thus they reap the consequencies of their actions and blindness. With reliance on the Master life can be joyful and full of peace and contentment. The Master gave the formula – Love.
Love God the Father with all your heart and all your soul and love your fellowman as you love yourself.
By following this simple law lives can be changed. The Master also announced the Universal laws that we should live our lives by:
1. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto us” – Love and service to others.
2. ‘He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword’ – Love and non-violence (in thoughts, word and deeds) 3. “Remove the plank from your eye…” – do not be critical of others. 4. By your light( how you live your life) others will recognise that you have Christ in you.
Anthony:
continuing my previous comment:
Living the “Fruits of the Spirit i.e Love, joy, peace, PATIENCE, kindness, gentleness, CHEERFULNESS, Faithfulness, Self control” is another gift of the Master and the Comforter. If we live the fruits of the Spirit we become godly and holy and acceptable to God because we do his will not our will.
As you stated in your Devoetry comment above “We must always remember that the decisions we make in our life carry consequences with them”
