Jesus is the ultimate friend.  He is always a great listener and an even better hugger.  He finds us in our darkest hour and brings us light.  He knows how to make us smile when we need it most and he always gives us his love.  I need a friend like him in my life, a friend who doesn’t judge me but does discipline me.  A friend who can take me places I do not want to go, but because of the comfort I have with him I have no fear to step in that direction.  Our awesome and mighty God is so awesome that he can just be our friend.
