When I feel Alone!
There are times in our lives when we feel like we are all alone. Even though there are many people who care about us and we know that they love us. Still in the midst of this love we feel like we are alone. Jesus suffered this same fate when he was on the cross. He felt all alone, even to the point of asking His father why have you forsaken me? That is a great question for us to think about. Here is our Almighty God and Savior, who felt all alone even though he was not. This is a human feeling and we must learn not to succumb to these feelings. Many of us are very emotional and direct our lives based on our feelings and this can be dangerous. Trusting God is a very hard thing to do, because we seem to have this innate “feeling” that we are in control. We must trust our decisions to the counsel of the Holy Spirit and not to spontaneous actions. I must know when I “feel” alone that then is the time to reach out to those that love me. We must not only reach out to Christ, but to the many people Christ has placed in our lives. I choose to live in a dark place at times because I feel like if you cannot see me then you will not know the person I really am. This lie is what keeps most of us in bondage. The truth is we are the men and women of God he created us to be. The key is not listening to the lies of the enemy. God is a big God and a God that keeps on giving. Let Him give you the love, mercy, and grace He chooses to give you and work on realizing your not alone!
