Precious Moments
As I sat in the celebration of life service, God began to speak to me more and more loudly. I watched and listened as many people who I have know since I was a little kid profess their faith in Jesus Christ. It comes at a sad time of loss but within the tragedy, Christ has found good. I witnessed powerful and unbelievable strength by the family to share the love of the one they lost. Their passion and strength you know came only from Jesus. This was confirmed by the many I continually heard saying, I could never do that, how can they be so strong, etc. I watched the pain and grief on the family, but then when it would be time for them to speak, their strength was divine. God spoke to all of us, as a reminder, to cherish every moment, do not take for granted the time you have with your loved ones, because it can be taken in an instant. These precious moments are in front of us daily and we must rely on God to soften our hearts and not let the daily routines take away from our joys in life, which are our families and friends. I watched a sister sit in front of a crowd of 1000 and sing, magnificently, even though only 4 days ago she lost her baby sister. That strength does not come from us, the only possible answer is God. My heart goes out to the family, but what I heard from each and everyone of them tonight, from God I believe, was to Cherish each Precious Moment we have and that is every moment. We end up in Jesus’ embrace when our eyes close for the final time here on Earth, but as the scripture says ” To live is Christ, to die is Gain!” Living for Christ is sharing a love and excitement in everything we do and asking God to break our heart for what breaks his. As we keep our eyes focused on Jesus, he focuses our hearts on those he places in our path. Thank You, PAPA that Heaven is for REAL!!! Enjoy every Precious Moment!! W.I.H Kaely (Worshiping In Heaven)
