Every time I go to figuring something out in my life, I usually end up a lot more confused or upset with it.  It is almost as if God purposely works in our life quietly to see if we will turn to him.  We usually do, but its after we have fallen flat on our face.  He is constantly throughout the entire bible calling us to Faith.  Having faith, living by faith, pretty much trusting in faith.  We know this, however we choose to figure it out on our own.  I realize I do this with most decisions or situations I am in.  Its not that I don’t take it to God for counsel, but its more like Hey Jesus I know what I want to happen here so come along for the ride.  Well if your like me taking Jesus on a ride with you doesn’t usually end up the way you want it too.  There is this intervention that occurs and divine one at that, where we look around, realize we are being swallowed up by the darkness of our choices and then we beg for his mercy.   I have come to take everything that happens in my life and Faith It Out!!  No more attempting to figure it out, because that’s on my terms, if I choose to Faith It Out, then its fully on God’s terms and His timing.  The timing part for us seems to be unbearable because we live in a get better quick society.  The truth is we need to sit through our pain and allow Jesus to meet us there.  The only way we know how to do that is through prayer and our Faith that he is listening and will answer.  Faithing It Out is my new motto for life.  I believe if we take the “power” away from ourselves and place it totally in Jesus’ hands we can reach those who are broken.  Learning to live life by Faithing it out instead of figuring it out will take patience, commitment and obedience.  As we make decisions, keep it playing over and over again, whether its a small decision or a very tough situation… Don’t Figure It Out, FAITH IT OUT!
