I have known my burdens for so long and for that time I have always placed them first on my list of things to pray for. Now, when I do this my temptation gauge goes through the roof and my sin life increases. It has been an amazing journey in realizing that I need to put others first and Jesus takes care of me. I experienced a great victory the other day, one that I have known myself to be defeated by on many past occasions. This time, yes this time, I chose Jesus and he literally drew near to me as I felt the devil flee. I am so humbled by God, He really loves me and through all the moments of my life he is there. I have continued to learn about how sobering life can be when you lose someone you love, or when someone you love is hurt very badly. You come to focus on them, but we must be careful, it has been in my deep prayer that I became unaware of the subtle attacks that snuck in when I was exhausted. This is why we cannot do this life alone and need to have people close to us who can pray for us as well. My life has been changed but nowhere near what has happened to my very close friend. His whole life and body are new and for his wife and his family. However, during this journey I have learned of those with cancer who have lost the fight, parents who have lost young children and men my age who have died from heart attacks. One victory cannot be enough can it? Jesus says yes, because it is in this one victory that we can build a foundation on Christ. All it takes is one Victory which we receive in Romans 10:9 ” If you declare with your mouth “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead(for your sins), you will be saved.” Yes!! My friends this one victory is enough, but once who have Jesus he continues to make each moment of your life an opportunity for His glory to be lifted up. Please fight for each victory and place others first. Prayer is a Lifestyle not an Action!
One Love, One King, All Christ!
