I guess we all come to different times in our lives where we make “big” decisions. We have to balance the pros and cons and then choose what we feel is best for us and our families. This could be considered the turning the page part of our lives. Knowing that a book is usually more than one page its safe to say we will turn several pages in our journey here on Earth. It is important that we include God in these page turns, because it is under his guidance that we can find peace and healing. The world offers us a lot of good things, but offers nothing pure. There is a hidden agenda by most everything the world has to offer and usually ends up with us trapped and “feeling” like everything is OK. Here is where my problem starts, you see I know that life is not just for us to live it “OK”. God says we are his beloved children and he has come to allow us to live the abundant life. The only way we can do this, whether for ourself or our family, is by surrendering and asking God when is it time to turn this page. I know myself and I have turned pages and then asked God to join me, after the fact. We deal with so much in our lives and Jesus knows our burdens, including those of us who feel we don’t need him or everything is just fine. We should desire that when we turn a page in our lives, it impacts others in a positive and loving way and in that new part of our life, God will share our soul with others. Ultimately it comes down to the simple fact that your life is not your own. As a single person this can sometimes be hard to swallow, but as a married person and/or a mother or father, you understand this. Basically, God is calling for us to understand he has us, will protect us and should trust him in all we do. The next time I turn a page in my life I want it to be because God has led the way and given me the peace necessary to make the change. I pray that all of you will take the time to pray and ask Jesus for some guidance before you turn another page in your life. I know I will!
One Love, One King, All Christ!
