Never Forgotten

This cloud of darkness surrounded me
It took my vision and strangled my heart
The darkness so deep I could not see
My past regrets were tearing my soul apart

Then in a moment it would all change
An angel sent through the voice of a man
This feeling of release felt very strange
Hearing Christ say, “Son, nothing changes my plan”

I have called on you to share the way I love
It will be through your writing hand
You are right to feel it is guided from above

I felt numb and unworthy as I prayed
