I am God’s Beloved and there is nothing I can do to change that. Even if I had never chosen to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior I would still be His Beloved child. Those that are lost and do not know God are not forgotten, but carry a heavy burden on Jesus’s heart. He loves us so much and when someone chooses not to believe I cannot even imagine the agony that must be felt knowing that soul will die. When you think of God, he created each of us, man and woman, in the image of Christ. We all have the ability to love, care, show mercy and grace. However, because the World is not ours but the Evil one’s we have to battle to let our new nature in Christ shine. It is so easy to sin and to make selfish choices, but takes someone who has truly been broken to trust Christ with all of who they are.
That is a great question to ask yourself and you must be specific in how you word it. You cannot ask yourself who you believe you are because we will typically answer from our brokenness and deliberately not see past the lies. We must ask the question, ” What does God think of me?” Now that can be scary and if we don’t know he is a loving and merciful God we may answer ignorantly. The truth is, as I have said before, to come as you are. He doesn’t say come to me after you have accepted me, he says come. When we are able to make that distinction in our life it is usually when we have hit rock bottom and have no where else to turn. If only we did the things we were supposed to when we received the advice to do it. I am a culprit of learning the hard way and traditionally not truly letting God love on me. I have become a lot better in receiving compliments and realizing God has created me to share who he is through me. There are so many gifts that Jesus has planted within us. The devil knows this and makes sure to shackle us up so that we don’t even feel, see or attempt to say we are blessed with gifts from God. It can be as simple as giving a good hug. The Holy Spirit is amazing and a gift can be as simple as making someone feel comforted through that touch. The healing of God and the ways he chooses to show that will vary. The one thing that does not vary or ever change is HOW MUCH HE LOVES YOU! There is a rhythm to life and God sets that rhythm and because of that and His choice to take all of our pain and sin upon himself, He never misses a beat. Choosing to follow and trust him can be hard, but once we do, our song(life) will play to His beat! (heart beat) AMEN.
One Love, One King, All Christ!
